- [Guide] How to start in 2026 — the eight steps that actually matter
I have answered this in about four hundred replies so I am writing it once properly. Twelve years in, eleven sites, one agency I sold. This is what I would do from zero today. 1. Sell a service for the first 90 days Wri…

- My Journey to $100/day — Day 1
Starting the thread on day one so there is no room to rewrite history later. Where I am Warehouse nights, two hours a day for this, $300 in the bank, $0 earned online ever. 21 days reading this forum. The target $100/da…

- [Free] The content P&L spreadsheet I use for all 11 sites
Companion to my P&L thread. Tracks per-site revenue, writer cost, link spend, tools and net margin, with a portfolio rollup tab. Nothing clever in it. The value is that it forces you to enter the cost side before it wil…

- The "low competition" score in every keyword tool is lying to you, and here is the proof
I pulled 600 keywords that three popular tools all scored as low difficulty — under 20 on their respective scales — and checked what was actually ranking. What I found in the top 10 At least one site with 500k+ monthly…

- Cancelled 6 of my 11 tool subscriptions and nothing broke — the audit
Was paying $684/mo across eleven tools. Went through them one at a time, cancelled anything I had not opened in 30 days, and replaced three with scripts. Now $196/mo and I have lost nothing I can measure. Kept Rank trac…

- How many words should a blog post be in 2026?
I keep seeing "1,500 words minimum" and also "word count does not matter". Which is it? For context I am writing about dog grooming tools and my posts are coming out around 900 words before I start padding them.

- Built a free keyword clustering sheet — grouping by SERP overlap, not by string match
You need SERP data from somewhere. Free tier of most tools will cover a few hundred queries a month, which is plenty for one site.

- Internal linking: I built a script to find orphan pages and the results were embarrassing
Orphan pages are the cheapest win in SEO and nobody checks for them because the tools bury it three menus deep.
