Same videos, cross-posted. Thirty days, same link, same lander.
TikTok: 1.94M views → 3,100 link clicks → 41 signups
Reels: 186k views → 2,700 link clicks → 88 signups
So TikTok is doing 10x the reach for roughly the same clicks and half the signups. Per thousand views it is about 20x worse.
I have tried: link in bio vs linktree, comment pinning, saying the URL out loud, a branded short domain, and an end card that holds for two seconds. All of it moved the needle a little. None of it closed a 20x gap.
My working theory is that it is not a funnel problem at all — the platform just serves a different intent. TikTok viewers are mid-scroll and not going anywhere. Curious whether anyone has actually beaten this rather than worked around it.
