My Journey to $100/day — Day 1

Starting the thread on day one so there is no room to rewrite history later.

Where I am
Warehouse nights, two hours a day for this, $300 in the bank, $0 earned online ever. 21 days reading this forum.

The target
$100/day. Not in a month. I am giving it twelve months and I will post whether or not it goes well.

The plan, which I expect to be told is wrong

• Days 1-90: sell writing. Five outreach emails a night, no exceptions
• Days 91-180: use the service income to fund one content site in a niche I already know (warehouse equipment, oddly enough)
• Days 181-365: reinvest everything. No tools over $20/mo until something earns

Day 1 numbers
Emails sent: 5. Replies: 0. Revenue: $0. Hours: 2.1.

Updating this every Sunday with real numbers including the zeros. If it goes to zero and stays there, that will be in here too.

Niche you already know plus service income funding it is the correct order and almost nobody does it. Warehouse equipment is a genuinely good niche: boring, commercial, and nobody competent is writing about it.

Five emails a night is 150 a month. That will get you clients. Just do not rewrite the email after four rejections — give it 50 sends before you judge it.

I was going to rewrite it tomorrow. Noted.

Honest pushback: $100/day in twelve months from a standing start on two hours a night is ambitious. Nothing wrong with aiming there, but do not treat month six as failure if you are at $20/day.

That is a fair reframe and I have written it at the top of my spreadsheet.

How long before you saw movement? Everyone leaves out the timeline.
