Forum rules and posting guidelines — read before your first post

Short version, because nobody reads the long version.

• No selling outside the Marketplace. Services, sites, accounts, courses — Marketplace or Freelance Services only, and sellers get reviewed first.
• No affiliate links in posts. Signature links are fine within reason.
• Revenue claims should include costs. Soft rule, enforced by reports.
• No asking for or sharing anything that breaks a platform's terms in a way that harms other people. Account recovery help is fine; mass abuse is not.
• Search before posting. "How many words should a post be" has been answered 400 times.
• Disputes go through the report button, not the thread, not DMs to mods at 3am.

Use the report button generously. The mod team is small and the forum is mostly moderated by its members noticing things.

Pinned and closed as it should be. The search-before-posting line deserves to be larger.

If it were larger it would still not be read. Thread closed — rule questions go in Suggestions & Feedback.

Been doing this for three months. Can confirm it is slower and more boring than it sounds.

Respect for posting the losses as well as the wins.
