Day 1 of actually trying — what should I do today, specifically?

I have read the pinned guide twice. I understand the eight steps. What I do not understand is what I physically do in the next two hours.

Situation: two hours a night, about $300 saved, no skills anyone would pay for yet, warehouse job until 6am.

I am not asking for a method. I am asking what the first session looks like, because "pick a model" is not a task I can put in a calendar.

Tonight: open a doc, write 200 words about anything you know well, and post it in a reply here. That is it. You are testing whether you can produce, which is the only skill every path needs.

Second that. Then tomorrow night, find five businesses with bad website copy and write one paragraph each of what you would change. That is a portfolio and an outreach list in one sitting.

That is a task I can actually do. Doing the 200 words tonight and the five businesses tomorrow.

When you send those five, do not attach a rate card. Send the paragraph and ask if they want the rest. I hire writers who do that and ignore the ones who lead with pricing.

Keep the $300 in the bank for now. There is nothing you can buy on day one that beats having a buffer when a client pays late.

Also: tell nobody in your life about this for six months. The explaining costs more energy than the work does.

Sample size is small but the direction matches mine, so I will take it.
